The following poem by Taleen Kalenderian consists of interlaced circular sentences taking inspiration from John Barth’s “Frame Tale.”  Artist John McCormick accompanies the piece with line drawings he’s chopped, screwed and layered to mimic the poetic process, creating a delightful interplay between line and sentence.

“Mobius”

 

 

 A rose is once upon the man now saying and
Is a time I love it’s what is said
A rose there was who now in it
Is a story that doesn’t now and what is a rose
