This month, DUM DUM Zine will be handing the reins over to guest editor Katharine Hargreaves: writer, designer, and social activist. You might recognize her name from the radical journal Whole Beast Rag, of which she was co-founder. She’s a former artist in resident and current collaborator at Think Tank Gallery, and you can find her work at Cultural Weekly, The Toolbox.org and more.
Katharine has agreed to take a break from illuminating the critical paradigm shifts happening all around L.A. to bring her perspective: from discussing platforms and interactivity to searching through and documenting repurposed buildings in the city’s countercultural communities of the past and present. Summer is all about getting out there–Katherine’s DUM DUM Online June take-over will guide us through a Los Angeles we don’t often see on the surface. Ready?
